Chimes: I don't have a page with that, actually. Not sure if that would even be possible, considering how much there is. How would you suggest I set this up, though? I think it's a great idea, if it is possible. :)
2011-06-07 [Chimes]: Perhaps have an archive page, then link to a page for each colour which displays all of the entries and the winners? (found from going back in the versions of the wiki, so it might be a bit time consuming. :P)
2011-06-08 [pegasus1000]: you would have to go all the way back to the first version of the page and go from there, perhaps skipping ahead 10-50-100 versions at a time until the end of each color. (sorry for just saying what you just said [Chimes], I just noticed... I actually did that a few weeks ago just to see what the previous colors were. I was bummed to see ROYGB(I)V had been done.

So, I've looked at your picture very carefully and though I can tell that it is not black and silver, I can't seem to see how this is a variation of turquoise. There is definitely blue there, but I don't believe it's quite the right shade of blue to be considered turquoise. :( I'm very sorry for this, because it is a truly beautiful piece. You've done an excellent job, and I only wish it were the right color for this contest.
I hope you won't take offense, but I would greatly appreciate if you would remove it from this particular round of the contest. You are, of course, completely welcome to resubmit another piece or to even tweak this one to fit with turquoise. I understand a lot of work must've gone into this, and I certainly don't want that to go to waste. I just get insecure when I'm uncertain about the differense. It's the same with these fancy named ''cerise'' or "Turquoise", really. I'm like ''what's the differense between that and old, regular blue?'' ;) That's why my entries normally show up once there's a few others up already, so I can sneakpeak on what's ok :P
It's your contest, chose the colour you want. I'll make it shiny anyway.. mwahahaa or, if you chose silver, I'll draw a 'silver'' horsey :D black with white mane and tail x) ) Just kidding.
As far as I can tell without looking back in the comments, most of the ''problem'' with silver is mine.. and that's nothing to take seriously ;)
Then we have Pegasus who could take this as a practice to get better at shiny-ness :D
And that's pretty much the only ones who hasn't liked silver as far as I can see. I don't count (I just wanted to make and see really shiny pictures, I don't mind silver) so we're down to one person against and a bunch of person pro.. :P

2011-11-13 [Kuramasgirl]: Well, the basic difference is that silver has highlights, because of its metallic qualities. If you're unsure of whether what you've done is acceptable, feel free to ask me first. :)
2011-11-13 [Zab]: And silver will reflect some colour from the surroundings :) Like.. a small line/spot next to the whitest highihts.. and making some bits saturated can help too.. maybe I'm just confusing it now? >_>

1. Take a photo of something silver, easy and quick :P
2. If you're using photoshop, use the dodge tool. That will give you more "shiny" highlights than making them yourself, unless you know what you're doing.
3. If you're painting or drawing, use actual silver paint or a silver pen
